Yup, you can expect to see the Mercedes Maybach S600 on the streets in 2016. After reviewing the test run of the S600, we truly believe that the new Maybach will live up to its name of class and luxury. This super cruiser is absolutely top of the line. We believe that it may even compete with Bentley and Rolls Royce.
Lets start off with the good stuff. The performance numbers for this big body beast is absolutely outstanding! How does a twin turbo, 6.0 liter, V-12 sound? Yes, that's right, 523 horses mounted to a seven speed automatic transmission with different driving modes (our favorite is "S" for Sport). Don't mind the weight of the car though. This 5,308 pound monster weighs as much as an F-150, but can still do the quarter mile in 13.2 seconds at 110 mph. Stopping is a different story, however. The brakes are good; not the best, but good.

Mercedes brags that the S600 has the lowest cabin sound out of all production vehicles. That's saying a lot, since you literally can't hear anything while riding in the back of a Phantom. Oh, and let's not forget that changing ambient light, service trays, pop up leg rests and display screens are factory in this rocket powered limo.
The Maybach isn't going to come cheap though. This stretched S chassis is definitely a car that you're going to need a chauffeur for you to truly enjoy this beauty. Priced at just around $200,000 dollars is probably your best bet if you're in the market for a top of the line luxury sedan.
