Continental GT3-R

Obviously the name gives away that this new coupe was inspired by the GT3 Bentley Continental race car which won its first race a few months back. And that’s about all it took to inspire Bentley engineers to create the Continental GT3-R. in honor of the race car. Aside from that, this new beast has subtle features that that let you know it’s race inspired, from the carbon fiber components, green interior accents, rear spoiler and GT3-R graphics.  It also comes with a dual titanium exhaust, 21 inch gloss black alloy wheels and Alcantara interior which still gives you the comfort and luxury that Bentley is known for.

Don’t be fooled just by the change in looks of the car. Bentley has made the GT3-R the first All-wheel drive Continental put into production. Combined with the programed Sport and Drive modes and a tuned 4.0 liter twin turbo V8, you can expect this beast to be pushing out about 572 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Shorter gearing and a weight reduction of 200 lbs will rocket this car from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds which makes the GT-3 the quickest Continental Bentley has ever built.

These hand built beauties now come with only two seats to save weight (Sorry backseat drivers), and the hefty motor is paired up to an eight speed automatic transmission that allows the car to top out at 170 mph. A refined Electronic Stability System and an updated version of their previous air springs was added to make sure this car has exceptional handling. Even though the GT3-R still weighs more than 4,000 lbs, it is now the most responsive and dynamic car coming from Bentley.

The final price of the Continental GT3-R has just been announced and will set you just over $404,000! That seems a bit high, you might think , but keep in mind that this a very limited edition Bentley. The automaker claims that only 300 of these big body beasts are being created, so keep a look out for them.
